La Juan Schlegel couldn't resist putting Rooster, Henrietta's boyfriend, in the bluebonnets.  Mrs. Schlegel is known for her meticulously detailed bluebonnet paintings; it just seemed natural that while she was painting Rooster's portrait, Rooster wandered into a nearby clump of bluebonnets.  But, Rooster does have a mind of his own.  That mind is usually thinking about Henrietta, who doesn't always return his affections.  (see Henrietta Find a Bug)
